How do you get to the battery in a 2002 suzuki volusia motorcycle?

how do you get to the battery in a 2002 suzuki volusia motorcycle? I know it is under the front seat but how the hell do I get the seat off? Do I have to take the backseat off too?|||Take off the back pillion (remove the bolt directly behind the pillion)...then remove the driver's seat (one bolt behind the driver's seat)...it's under it.|||Remove the rear (pillion) seat, then the front seat. The battery is located directly beneath the front seat,
