HELLO, I AM WANTING TO BUY A MOTORCYCLE AND CAME ACROSS A 1995 SUZUKI SAVAGE LS650 BIKE. THE BIKE HAS 3,500 MILES AND AS MENTIONED IT IS A 1995 YEAR. THE BIKE IS SELLING FOR $2500. IS IT A GOOD BUY AND ARE THEY RELIABLE? I DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THEM. I WILL ALSO BE TAKING LONG TRIPS, ABOUT 300 MILES, ARE THEY COMFORTABLE ENOUGH? THANK YOU!|||it fires its 1 piston every 720 degrees. you don't see high mileage thumper bikes as they are referred to as for a reason, they shake themselves to death long before making the high mileage. it's a fine temporary bike|||Good Deal: Blue book is about 1800 for that year. With LOW miles, add about 3-400 dollars. 2250 would be a good deal.
Comfortable: A single cylinder engine with a smaller displacement is going to be rather "buzzy" for long distances.
